Inner conflict

Lloss, regret, unrequited compassion and a flase sense of hope are all that i am experiencing. I fel like i'm disconnected from my body. Like I'm watching life as a video game. I feel as if i am beginning to lose control. More often than not, i feel my basic instinct threatening tooverpower my brain. I want to submit to my instinct sometimes, but still i know i cannot, for fear of hurting others. My conflict is my own. no one shall know of it.

Faith in humanity

i am beginning to grow weary of those who take things for granted. I realize that everyone does it,but those who are so stuck in their isolationist ways that they cannot see the many gifts life has bestowed on them. People always complain about being alone and depressed because they have no friends. Well I'm sorry, but 900 times out of 901, they have people who truly care and they love to hang out with, but like everything in life, they take the friend for granted and eventually forget about the friendship and/or ignore them. What is wrong with people nawadays that tey are so starved for instant gratification, hat if a few days or weeks, even months pass, important or treasured moments are forgotten? It sickens me. It truly sickens me.

That, and close minded people. Many of the people at work are very close minded, especially when it comes to homosexuals. they view it as wrong, and when i counter, their arguments can be used against them. And when I do, they shut down and begin circular logic, or worse abandon the argument and simply toss insults to bigger themselves in their eyes. Such pathetic excuses for humanity. And these are the people i have for friends. the pool of diversity is evaporating, and those ideals of fairness and logic are replaced by the murky film society has cast with its poison on this world.

I am an optimist, but my faith in humanity is tested every day.

Cowboy lesbian

An old cowboy went to a bar and ordered a drink. As he sat sipping his whiskey a young lady sat down next to him. She turned to the cowboy and asked, "Are you a real cowboy?"

"Well," he replied, "I've spent my whole life on the ranch, herding horses, mending fences and branding cattle, so I guess I am."

"I'm a lesbian," she said. "I spend my whole day thinking about women. As soon as I get up in the morning I think about women. When I shower I think about women. While I watch TV or even eat I think about women. Everything seems to make me think about women."

The two sat sipping in silence. A short time later a man sat down on the other side of the old cowboy and asked, "Are you a real cowboy?"

"I always thought I was," he replied, "but I just found out I'm a lesbian."
