sine wave meter

I wanted to know
I wanted to think but yet to scared to ask
That the way you look at me is not a fleeting glance
my desperate heart attack

Why obsesses
Why dare to dream at all when dreams are often lost
Why persue a fling of guts and clutch to a lost cause
For hope and her trust

My paranoia
Keeps my eyes from seeing the plain set truth
My fear blinds and distorts what originally would sooth
causing torture and foul mood

Pain for Pleasure

Take a razor and sign your name across my wrists
So everyone will know you left me like this

The truth is you could slit my throat
And with my last gasping breath
I"d apoligize for bleeding on your shirt.

Sleeping Beauty

perhaps the time that a woman is most beautiful, when not smiling, is when they dream.
the calm and essence of peace exhudes like a warm light, casting contentment.
it is almost as if no matter what is going on,
no matter the hardships faced today,
the form of a loved one sleeping sound makes everything alright

Emotions Embarrassment

embarrassment causes an anti-reaction
disprogressive towards the common goals
of the person affected yet the distance is fashioned
because of the circumstance of loosing control

emotions raging and controlling the user
user in facade the truth only an abuser
not of a choice but of fates ironic hand
that which controls us frustrates to no end

but throughout the gloom a spear of light pierces
embarrassment controlled and grows progressively dimmer
allowing the true intentions to be dealt with reason
and fanned to full boil, no longer a simmer

The goal is achieved and the contentment sets in
a job well done, the desires for her from him
have come to fruition and a song fills the air
the world is complete because he has her

Pain of Loss

it hurts so much to have love unrequited
to have them feel nothing while you are excited
but as much as it hurts you will have to deal
or be left in the dust with wounds unhealed

One Acceptance

To dance in the sleep, lets call it a dream
when finally perfection is what everything seems

laughing in the distance replaces the yells
and no longer pervading are the voices of hell
Completion accomplished in the mind of the self
finally, rest and a vacation for health

a calm stupor is all that surrounds me and i realise
no matter what happens this is the time to fly

the curse has been broken and the manacles lifted
to me this one fine present is finally gifted
no dreams left broken too sharp to be sifted
no lingering thought that perhaps I had missed it.

soar to the perches of the worlds four corners and yell
I've been accepted by one, and that one means the world.

A broken heart has physical pain

A broken heart has physical pain

It begins not at the heart per se, but right at the bottom of the sternum.

It radiates outward, and sinks into all of the muscles.

It hinders the lungs. It blinds the mind.

It feels quite literally as if a knife enters the chest and lets loose a flood of ants seething and crawling in your blood.

The worst wound is not a mortal one.

It is one that lets you live while watching everything you love and hold dear stay out of reach.

It allows the only barrier to be the one in your mind, and yet it holds you back.

A broken heart is indeed the worst punishment exacted.
